What the app stores
Oztag Subs Manager stores the information you type in: player names (first names are enough), who is absent, tries, trophies, game clock and settings. This is saved on your device only. We do not run any servers that receive this information.
Live Sharing and iCloud
If you choose to share a game, the game data is saved to your private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit, and shared with the people you invite through Apple's sharing sheet. Only invited people can open it, and you choose whether each can make changes or view only. Stopping sharing in the app ends their access. Coaches who join store a copy on their own phone and in their own iCloud. This data is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. We cannot see it.
If you add your name in the app so other coaches see who made a change, it is sent only to the coaches in that shared game.
Notifications and permissions
- Notifications: used only to alert you at swap times and full time. They are scheduled on your phone.
- iCloud: only used if you turn on Live Sharing.
- The app does not use your location, contacts, camera, microphone or photos.
Analytics and third parties
The app contains no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking tools. If you choose to share analytics or crash reports with app developers in your iPhone settings, Apple may provide us with anonymous reports. These do not identify you or contain your squad.
Children
The app is a tool for coaches and managers and has no accounts. Because player names are entered by an adult (the coach) and stay on the device (or in your private iCloud if you share), we do not collect any child's personal information. Please only share a game with people you know, and enter first names only.
Your choices
- Edit or clear names at any time, or use Reset team and settings to wipe everything stored in the app.
- Stop sharing or leave a shared game in the Squad tab.
- Deleting the app removes its data from your phone.
